This depends on the time of day and how many guests are being picked up and dropped off. Early in the morning (8 am departure) travel time from Kuta – Seminyak (West Coast of Bali) to Serangan Island is less than 30 minutes after the last guests have been picked up.
Dropping back to your Bali hotel, or taking the 11 am Serangan departure (peak season only) may take a little longer as traffic picks up during the day.
From Central Bali to Padang Bai (East Bali departure) the trip takes around 1 hour after the last guests have been picked up for the early 8 am departure, and a little longer for drop off and the 1 pm departure.
Dropping back to your Bali hotel, or taking the 11 am Serangan departure (peak season only) may take a little longer as traffic picks up during the day.

All boats are certified to International Safety Management standards and carry life-jackets, life-rafts, ship-to-shore radio, distress flares, throw rings, fire-fighting equipment, and an EPIRB.

Seasick tablets are provided at reception before departure and are also available on the boat.

We always recommend travelling the day before your homebound flight for peace of mind, especially in peak season when alternate means of transport are usually full if the trip is cancelled for any reason.
If you have a flight out on the same day as travelling with us, choose the earliest possible departure and please let us know flight details and ensure we have a number and email address to contact you. We will do our best to prioritise you for the best alternative transport (usually a local flight) and do our best to get you to the airport if there are any delays or cancellations.

This sometimes happens, though it is very unusual outside of the rainy season (January – March). We always inform passengers as soon as possible when a cancellation occurs, and offer the following options:
- Reschedule for another day – subject to availability.
- Cancel your trip, make your own arrangements and get a full refund of your ticket price.
- Take a flight, if available, usually at no additional cost (it's covered by your boat ticket) with transport to and from airports provided by Ekajaya.
- Take the slow ferry, with a partial refund of your ticket price, depending on the costs incurred for the alternate transport. Land transport is provided in Lombok.
Passenger liability covers all passengers up to 65 years of age are covered for up to IDR 700,000,000 for death or dismemberments and IDR 70,000,000 hospitalization.

- Ekajaya Fast Boat reserves the right to refuse to carry any passenger or goods without assigning a reason.
- This contract is subject to the laws of Indonesia, and may only be varied by agreement in writing between the company and the passenger.
- Verbal promises by booking agents or clerks will not be recognized by the company.
- Sea conditions can be unpredictable; therefore all children and infants must be accompanied on board the vessel. Ekajaya fast Boat will not accept responsibility should there be an injury on board the boat.
- Each passenger is entitled to a maximum of 2 pieces of luggage, not exceeding a total weight of 25kg.
- Ekajaya Fast Boat reserves the right to inspect the contents of any luggage and can refuse the carriage of any items that are likely to endanger the vessel or other travelers.
- Ekajaya Fast Boat is not recommended for passengers who are; pregnant, suffering from heart conditions, and suffering from serious back complaints or serious physical impairments.
- The company accepts no responsibility for loss or damage to luggage during transit
- Re-scheduling is based on seat availability and must be made 2 days prior to guest departure.
- Pets are not allowed onboard the ship.

- Ekajaya Fast Boat reserves the right to cancel a booking and change the schedule without any liability to the passenger due to major problems with the vessel, bad weather, technical issue, safety concerns related to passenger and/or crew, or by direction from the Indonesian Government and/or Harbor Master.
- Ekajaya Fast Boat shall not be liable for damages or losses that may arise in the event of cancellation or delay of the service. Ekajaya Fast Boat shall not be liable in any way for the cost of any accommodation, connecting flights, or for any alternative means of travel that may arise through cancellations or delays. Additional expense so arising shall be the sole liability and responsibility of the passenger.
- *To avoid disappointment concerning a connecting flight at any airport, Ekajaya Fast Boat suggests providing yourself at least 24 hours before your onward travel.
- In the event of a ticket or booking being canceled by the passenger, Ekajaya Fast Boat reserves the right to charge cancellation fees as follows:
- Cancellation more than 1 week of travel date: FULL REFUND.
- Cancellation less than 1 week but more than 48 hours from the date of travel: 50% REFUND.
- Cancellation less than 48 hours of travel: NO REFUND.
- No show or late arrival: NO REFUND.
- Notice of cancellation must be received by us in writing.

In the event of a trip cancellation from the company, the company shall refund any funds paid by the passenger direct to the company, or any funds already paid by an agent to the company on the passenger’s behalf. The passenger is responsible for collecting any funds paid to agents who have not yet been paid to the company.
